Zoo Burst Look what I learnt to do at the ICT course!

Today the Year 3/4 teachers are on an E-Time ICT course. We are learning how to use ICT's (computers, i-Pads,i-Pod's, the internet etc) more successfully in our class. Try out these two new websites - 20q.net- a questioning game, great fun for the family and http://bubbl.us - a great brainstorming website. A link for these is in the 'other useful websites' section, enjoy!

As our reading activity last week we made an OHP play that showed people using the Sumner Surfer Values. Check out the photos, our backgrounds looked great up on the big screen!

We have been studying the artist Eric Carle in class. He is the author and illustrator of the famous book "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" and many others. He uses a collage technique to make his art and we have been trying to make art like his!

We had a great time at Quail Island on Wednesday. We went for a huge walk around the island, saw shipwrecks and completed activities in our learning styles. The activities were things like building shelters and traps, collecting rainwater, interviewing people and doing role plays. It was a wonderful day!
